Nuclear energy is one of the most powerful tools we have for increasing human prosperity and protecting the natural environment. But pervasive misconceptions and a lack of awareness are undermining the continued operation of nuclear plants and the construction of new ones.

Communication from the industry has been bad or nonexistent. Some of the most important information on the subject is buried deep in technical reports. There are limited resources available for non-technical decision-makers, journalists, and the public.

I want to provide a fresh and clear perspective about nuclear power that’s accessible to anyone. Splitting the Atom will address frequently asked questions and commonly-held misconceptions, as well as correct and contextualize media bias while getting to the heart of what matters.

I don’t accept any money from the nuclear industry. I am entirely subscriber-funded to ensure I can be a fair and independent advocate for the public’s interest – which is in reliable, clean, and efficient nuclear power.

If you aren’t already a paid subscriber, please consider becoming one to support increasing the understanding and appreciation of one of the most valuable technologies at our disposal.
